About Me
Hello! I’m Matt. I’m from the West Midlands but have called London home for all of my adult life. I'm a keen traveller, history buff, and I love accents and voices.

Over the last ten years I have taught all over the world and at some of the UK’s leading institutions including Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Shakespeare’s Globe, Mountview, Rose Bruford, and Arts Ed. Here I have taught hundreds of actors how to approach accents and how to use their voices effectively for stage and screen.

And now I am fortunate enough coach actors for film and TV; working from the audition sides all the way through to the day of filming. Encompassing, preparation, practice, and delivery. So, whether you need to learn a new accent or refine an existing one; prepare for an audition or are in need of support on set.

Recent TV & Film
From the first session I had with Matt, he was super friendly, understanding and helpful. I came away from each session feeling better and better from using the exercises Matt provided. For the accent we were working on, he took me through all the sounds with detailed documents and also audible examples to listen to. Matt catered to any specific issues I felt I was having. Sometimes I didn’t know how to describe what I was struggling with but Matt has a great ear, he identified where I was going wrong and got me back on track. Great guy, highly recommend.
